Weather and SeasonsBest season: summer. Summer is the best time to visit Lake Conasauga because the mountain lake offers reliably cool, comfortable weather for swimming, boating, and long days of hiking—daytime highs typically range from the mid-60s to upper 70s °F with nights dipping into the mid-40s to mid-50s. Water-based activities (swimming, paddling, shore fishing) and full access to all trails and campground loops are at their peak, and wildflower/forest life is abundant.
