Best Time to Camp at Christie Campground

Summer at Christie Campground unfolds with warm, sun-drenched days perfect for lake activities, though Mother Nature often punctuates afternoons with dramatic thunderstorms that roll across the mountain landscape. As daylight fades, the elevation works its magic, transforming hot afternoons into refreshingly cool evenings ideal for campfire gatherings. Pack your insect repellent for those magical dawn and dusk hours when mosquitoes join the symphony of nature, particularly active during the warmer months when they dance in the golden light filtering through the pines.
