No potable water on site means hauling everything in, and the approach road from the east requires a lightweight 4WD even after recent repairs. One site, cash or check only, adds logistical friction most casual campers won't want.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Spring is prime time here. By mid-April, daytime highs reach the mid-60s to mid-70s with nighttime lows in the 40s and 50s. The creek runs strong, wildflowers appear on the ridges, and OHV trails are in good shape by late April. Summer brings heat and lower water levels. Winter sees February lows around 40°F with Pacific storms that can make access roads muddy or impassable. Lightweight 4WD is recommended even in dry months due to road damage.
Spring is prime: higher creek flows, wildflowers, and good fishing noted in description.
