No water on-site is a real logistics problem for large groups. You'll haul every drop yourself, and the nearest showers require driving to Burlington or Hidden Springs. RVs can't book this at all.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer is the only season Williams Grove officially operates, Memorial Day through Labor Day. Daytime temperatures run 65–80°F, with nights dropping to 45–55°F. The redwood canopy keeps the site comfortable during midday heat. Trails and the summer footbridge are driest and safest in these months, though weekends and holidays fill quickly. The river stays cold year-round, so bring warm layers for after swimming. Off-season visitors can access the day-use area and often have the beach to themselves.
Campground open Memorial Day–Labor Day; summer offers trails, river activities, comfortable temps.

The campground features picnic tables, fire rings, and flush toilets. Campers may access hot showers at the nearby Burlington or Hidden Springs campgrounds. Note: There is no electricity or lighting at Williams Grove, and no water is available on-site—campers should bring their own. Portable toilets may be provided during peak season.
