Best season: fall. Fall delivers the best balance of comfortable weather and prime recreation — daytime highs typically run in the mid-60s to mid-80s F (September–October), making boating, swimming, hiking, and photography much more pleasant than the scorching summer months. Water recreation is still excellent but crowds thin after Labor Day and marina services remain largely available, so you get easier boat launches and quieter coves for exploring Glen Canyon. Expect fewer holiday crowds than summer, spectacular Peak months: October, September, April, May Avoid: July, August
Spring is highlighted as one of the best seasons due to mild temperatures and comfortable stays.
Antelope Point RV Park offers specific amenities tailored for RV campers. The park features 104 full hook-up spaces including 15 pull-through slots. The maximum RV length supported is 70 feet. Two RV dump stations are available. Astroturf is present at all sites, which users appreciated for cleanliness and reduced dust. However, reviews noted a lack of basic amenities like fire pits, grills, and picnic tables.
