Driving directionsFrom Shelton, WA take US Highway 101 for 6 miles north. Then turn west onto the Skokomish Valley Road. Follow Skokomish Valley Road for about 8 miles to the forest boundary. Continue on Forest Road 23 for about another 5 miles to Forest Service Road 2353. Turn right and drive approximately 3/4 mile to the South Fork Skokomish River Bridge. Cross the bridge and make a sharp turn to the right onto Forest Service Road 2340. Brown Creek Campground is located 1/4 mile beyond this point.

Brown Creek Campground sits where Brown Creek meets the South Fork Skokomish River in the Olympic foothills near Shelton. Twenty first-come, first-served sites spread beneath Douglas firs and hemlocks, with payment handled through the Recreation.gov app's Scan & Pay feature. Twelve sites accommodate RVs and trailers without hookups, eight are tent-only, and one is ADA-accessible.

Campsites accommodate both RVs/trailers and tent camping; sites are first-come, first-served and require on-site check-in/payment.
