Summer offers the quintessential Swaseys Beach experience: warm, sunny days (typically mid-80s to mid-90s F / 29–35°C) and cool, comfortable nights (50s–60s F / 10–16°C) that make swimming, beach time, and boating ideal. Cottonwoods provide shady campsites and the river is at pleasant temperatures for paddling and floating; wildlife and riparian birdlife are active along the shore. Expect moderate day-use crowds at the sandy beach on peak summer weekends, but the campground’s small 12-site scale Peak months: July, June, September, August
Summer is peak: mid-80s–90s days, ideal river swimming, paddling and beach use.
