Best Time to Camp at Equestrian Campground

The sweet spot for camping runs from early May through late September, when the high country comes alive with possibilities. Spring arrives with crisp, sometimes freezing nights that give way to pleasantly warm days, while summer brings those perfect mountain mornings and comfortable afternoons ideal for long rides. Early season adventurers should come prepared for winter's occasional encore performance, as snow and freezing temperatures can surprise visitors well into May.
