Best season: fall. Fall offers the most comfortable weather and the clearest hiking conditions — daytime highs typically range from the mid-50s to mid-70s °F (13–24°C) with cool nights in the 30s–50s °F, making long trail rides and summit attempts far more pleasant than in summer. Trails and vistas are at their peak for photography and wildlife viewing, and equestrian access is excellent with corrals and trailer parking available; crowd levels are moderate — busier on holiday weekends but generally quieter than in Peak months: October, November, September, April Avoid: July, August
Fall described as the best season for riding and hiking; mild daytime temps and clear trails.
