Best Time to Camp at Gary And Flagg Islands Natural Crup Campground

The gates stay open year-round, and each season paints the islands differently: spring carpets the forest floor with wildflowers, while fall brings the drama of salmon runs. Gate hours follow the sun's schedule and change with the seasons, so verify times before you arrive. Expect authentic coastal weather—rain showers that might flood a trail or reshape a beach overnight. That's wilderness for you, wild and real and never quite the same twice.

Best
