About Grabel Floodplain Natural Crup Campground

Just minutes from Southeast Portland, 63 acres of restored floodplain and wetlands offer an unexpected escape into nature's rhythm. A half-mile paved trail winds through pond-dotted meadows and towering groves of cottonwood, Douglas fir, and oak where Johnson Creek's waters nurture salmon, herons, and a thriving community of Pacific Northwest wildlife.
Restored 63-acre floodplain natural area intended for day use, walking, and wildlife viewing. The official site does not mention camping or overnight facilities.
