Best season: summer. Summer offers the warmest, driest weather and full access to the trails leading into the Three Sisters Wilderness, making it ideal for multi-day pack trips and day rides. Expect daytime highs in the 70s–80s°F with cool nights in the 30s–40s°F; trails are generally dry by mid-June and remain good through September. Horse facilities (livestock water, roomy horse-friendly sites) and vault toilets are all available during the reservation season, and peak activities—long equestrian rides, wildflower- Peak months: July, August, September, June Avoid: November, December, January, February
