Summer offers the warmest, most reliable conditions and full access to the group site and Paulina Lake — expect daytime highs around 65–80°F and cool nights in the mid-30s to mid-40s at 6,348 ft. This is when boating, fishing, hiking the volcanic features, mountain biking, and evening stargazing are at their peak, and the lake is most comfortable for launching boats (water remains brisk).
