Summer brings intense heat that shimmers across the prairie, while spring and fall usher in powerful winds that sweep across the ancient peaks. Rain can arrive suddenly, transforming dry creek beds into rushing streams, and during storm season, the sky occasionally rumbles with the raw power of tornadoes dancing across the distant horizon.
