Caesar Creek Campground provides electric and full-hookup sites suitable for tents and RVs; the park also offers primitive equestrian camps, multiple group camps, and a backpack camp elsewhere in the park.

Mid-to-late October brings peak hardwood color, with daytime highs in the 55–70°F range and crisp nights dropping to 35–50°F. The dense canopy makes for excellent shaded hiking and scenic campsite light. Water levels hold steady for boating and fishing, and the Check-In Store stays fully staffed through fall. Weekends see moderate crowds, but weekdays stay quiet. The campground operates year-round, though the camp store and kayak rentals close seasonally. Loop F has faced temporary closures for electrical upgrades, so check ahead if booking far in advance.
