Driving directionsSilver Valley is about 60 miles east of Angel's Camp on Highway 4 toward Lake Alpine. At the east end of the lake, turn onto the side road just east of Chickaree Picnic Area and follow the road around to Silver Valley Campground.
The campground is accessible via paved roads, but users should note that the roads are narrow with tight turns and large boulders. These conditions may pose challenges for large RVs.
