Angel Lake Campground, located at an elevation of 8,400 feet, offers a range of amenities designed for a comfortable yet rustic camping experience. Notable features include picnic tables, campfire rings, and grills at each site. Vault toilets are available and widely praised for their cleanliness, with multiple user reviews calling them 'the cleanest restrooms I’ve been at a primitive site.' The campground does not provide trash collection services, requiring visitors to pack out their trash. Firewood can be purchased on-site from the campground host, though some reviews mention availability varies. Clean drinking water is available, but there are no showers or other modern facilities such as Wi-Fi or electrical hookups. The lack of shade is a notable feature, as dwarf aspens provide privacy but little relief from the sun. A day-use picnic area is adjacent to the campground along the lakeshore.
