No showers on-site and no hookups at individual sites means RVers needing full utility connections or anyone counting on a cell signal will have a rough time. Nearest showers are at Atlatl Rock Campground down the road.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Fall offers the nicest balance: daytime temperatures typically run 65–90°F in October and November, with crisp nights in the 50s that make campfires enjoyable when fire restrictions allow. The light on red sandstone peaks for photography, and trails to Arch Rock, Elephant Rock, and Atlatl Rock stay comfortably accessible without summer's intense desert heat. Crowds pick up on weekends but thin out compared to spring's peak rush. The campground stays open year-round. Winter sees fewer visitors. Summer brings extreme heat. Plan your visit around heat tolerance and bring plenty of water and sun protection regardless of season.
Peak season with warm days. Most facilities open. Reserve ahead.

Basic desert campground amenities including potable water, picnic tables, fire rings/grills, vault/pit toilets, and a dump station. No electric, water, or sewer hookups at sites; showers are not available at Arch Rock but are available at the nearby Atlatl Rock Campground. Limited park-level Wi‑Fi may be available for a fee at the visitor center.
