One vehicle only, parked 300 feet before the gate. No potable water means packing everything in. Groups needing hookups, reliable cell coverage, or a short walk from the car will run out of patience fast.

Summer brings daytime highs in the mid-60s to low-80s°F, with nights in the mid-40s to 50s°F. Winter temperatures hover around 26°F during the day, dropping to 13°F at night. July and August see the most visitors on forest service roads, but the single campsite stays quiet. Summer offers the best conditions for fishing, paddling, and exploring the forest.
