Go if

Hikers and fall foliage chasers will get the most from this place. The swinging bridge and Oldenburg Point overlook are worth the trip alone, and the shower building consistently gets high marks from reviewers who expected worse.

Skip if

Bugs are serious in summer, ticks are real, and some site pads run noticeably uneven. Families or campers who need flat ground should check the site map carefully before booking, and anyone expecting cell service won't find it.
