Summer reigns supreme here, with July and August drawing families and sun-seekers to the warm, swimmable waters and perfect beach days. But savvy campers know the shoulder seasons hold their own magic—May through June and September into early October offer cooler, quieter days when the lake is yours to enjoy without the crowds, and fall foliage begins its spectacular show. While winter transforms other parts of Sebago Lake State Park into a snowy playground, the campground itself takes a well-earned rest during the coldest months.
July–August are peak season with warm swimmable waters and full amenities; best season for visitors.
