Summer delivers the full experience: daytime highs of 75-85°F, nights around 60-65°F, lifeguarded swimming, and full amenity access. The campground only operates Memorial Day through Labor Day. Ocean breezes keep things cooler than inland areas, but the wind can be relentless. July and early August weekends get crowded, so reserve ahead or visit midweek. Winter camping isn't an option here. The facility closes after Labor Day.

The campground boasts 100 back-in campsites with asphalt pads, a comfort station with flush toilets and hot showers, a dishwashing station, a dump station, multiple recreational facilities such as a playground, basketball and volleyball courts, and direct access to a cobblestone beach. Each site includes a fire ring and picnic table. "The bathrooms are clean," one user review noted. There is also a restriction against generators as of the 2022 season, which some users have described as creating a "peaceful" atmosphere. Firewood is available for purchase onsite, and pets are prohibited on the beach or swimming areas.
