Summer gives you the best combination of warm, sunny days (typically reaching into the mid-to-upper 70s) and crisp nights (around 40°F) for full access to Redfish Lake and the Sawtooths. This is peak time for swimming, boating, fishing, wildflower displays, and hiking high alpine trails without deep snow; the small 16-site campground fills fast, so reservations or an early arrival are recommended.
