No turnaround space means trailers are a real problem, and the rocky access road with a stream crossing will stop low-clearance vehicles cold. No water, no cell signal, and no garbage service rule this out if you're not fully prepared to be on your own.

Summer is the practical window. Days run 65–85°F, nights drop to 30–45°F. The creek keeps daytime temperatures bearable even in July. Snow and mud close the road in winter and early spring. Late summer brings fire restrictions most years. Fall can be pleasant through September, but expect freezing nights by early October. The elevation means weather shifts quickly: afternoon thunderstorms are common in August.
