Go if

Anglers and mountain bikers who pack all their own water will find a genuinely uncrowded base camp here. Late June through July offers the best trail and creek conditions, and four first-come sites means you'll rarely compete for a spot.

Skip if

No potable water on site is a hard stop for anyone who forgets to plan ahead. The nearest supplies and emergency services are 22 miles back in Weiser, and the ranger district there is temporarily closed, so self-sufficiency isn't optional.

Overview

At the Justrite Campground, four undeveloped campsites are located next to Mann Creek. This is a great area to explore on a mountain bike; backcountry roads and trails cover miles of the Hitt Mountains. Or spend your time fishing for rainbow trout. There is no potable water provided at these sites, so please come prepared with your own supply. Sites are first-come, first-served during the season of use, which is typically mid-May through late September or early October.
