No potable water on site is a hard stop for anyone who forgets to plan ahead. The nearest supplies and emergency services are 22 miles back in Weiser, and the ranger district there is temporarily closed, so self-sufficiency isn't optional.

At the Justrite Campground, four undeveloped campsites are located next to Mann Creek. This is a great area to explore on a mountain bike; backcountry roads and trails cover miles of the Hitt Mountains. Or spend your time fishing for rainbow trout. There is no potable water provided at these sites, so please come prepared with your own supply. Sites are first-come, first-served during the season of use, which is typically mid-May through late September or early October.

Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer brings the most reliable access and comfortable camping temperatures. Days typically hit the 70s and 80s, nights drop to the 40s and 50s at this elevation. The campground opens mid-May and closes late September. Trails dry out for biking, and Mann Creek becomes fishable as conditions warm. Crowds stay light. Four sites and a backcountry location keep visitor numbers low even in peak season. Late June through July delivers clear skies and the best overall conditions.
Summer offers most reliable access; temps in 70s–80s daytime and comfortable nights.
