Last-minute cancellations are a real pattern here, with at least one group turned away three days before their event after booking five months out. Don't anchor a firm commitment to this venue without a backup plan.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Fall brings the most comfortable conditions, with highs in the low 70s to low 80s and mornings around 50-60°F. Humidity drops and afternoon thunderstorms become less frequent than summer, making long hikes and bike rides more pleasant. Winter sees temperatures between 52°F and 68°F. Summer hits 87-89°F with high humidity and regular afternoon thunderstorms that drench the forest. Migratory birds pass through in fall, and wildlife trails stay active. Weekdays see light use; weekends fill up.
Fall cited as most comfortable: milder temps, lower humidity and fewer storms.
