No toilets means digging a cat hole or holding it. No potable water means hauling everything in. If either of those is a dealbreaker, this one's not ready for you yet.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Spring offers the best balance: daytime highs between 70-85°F, cool nights in the 50s-60s, lower humidity than summer. Wildflowers bloom, migrating birds pass through, and river clarity peaks for paddling and fishing. Trails stay comfortable for hiking and biking. Summer turns humid and hot, with afternoon heat that can drain less-prepared campers. Fall brings another mild window. Weekend crowds pick up around holidays; weekdays stay quiet.
Spring noted as best balance—70–85°F, wildflowers, migrating birds, and improved river clarity.
