No potable water, an out-of-service vault toilet, illegal campers leaving waste on busy weekends, and a narrow rutted access road make this a hard pass for anyone expecting even basic sanitation.

Summer brings the best conditions. Daytime highs run mid-80s to low-90s, with cool nights in the 50s and 60s. River flows drop and clear by mid to late summer, making swimming and fishing safer. Winter sees heavy rain and occasional mudslides that can close access roads. The remote location and small site count keep crowds manageable even in peak season, though weekend boaters and parties do show up.
Summer best: warm days, low clear river flows; swimming and fishing at peak.
The facility has no water or garbage collection. Road access is NOT recommended for RV's or Trailers.
