Greers Ferry Dam stands at the foot of beautiful Round Mountain in the Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas. Numerous parks offer modern camping and recreational opportunities. Marinas provide rental services, food and other supplies and services. Lake fishing is good throughout the year. A trout hatchery furnishes trout for the Little Red River flowing out of the dam. Hiking trails give visitors a beautiful natural view of the lake and its surroundings. Activities on and around Greers Ferry Lake will keep anyone busy.

Shiloh Campground, part of the Greers Ferry Lake recreation area in Arkansas, offers 100 campsites including 53 with electrical hookups, a large non-electric group campsite, and a diverse array of amenities such as flush and vault toilets, showers, a dump station, picnic shelters, and a boat ramp. The campground is set amidst a dense forest of red cedar, black gum, red oak, elm, pecan, and sweet gum trees. These trees provide ample shade in the summer and colorful foliage in the fall.
