Greers Ferry Dam stands at the foot of beautiful Round Mountain in the Ozark Mountains of north-central Arkansas. Numerous parks offer modern camping and recreational opportunities. Marinas provide rental services, food and other supplies and services. Lake fishing is good throughout the year. A trout hatchery furnishes trout for the Little Red River flowing out of the dam. Hiking trails give visitors a beautiful natural view of the lake and its surroundings. Activities on and around Greers Ferry Lake will keep anyone busy.

Summer is the best time for enjoying Greers Ferry Lake — expect long, warm days (daytime highs commonly in the mid-80s to low-90s °F) ideal for boating, swimming, and water sports. Lake fishing (bass, crappie) and full-service campsite use (most sites have electric hookups) are at their peak, though holiday weekends can be busy so reservations are recommended. Warm evenings are great for campfires and family activities, but be prepared for humidity, afternoon thunderstorms, and heavier crowds on Peak months: June, July, August, September

Devils Fork Campground, part of the Greers Ferry Lake Recreation Area, offers a variety of amenities catering to both RV and tent campers.
