No potable water, no fire rings, and a rough road that rules out trailers entirely. If you need any of those basics, this one site in the middle of Colville National Forest will frustrate before it satisfies.

Summer brings daytime highs of 65 to 80°F, with nights cooling into the mid-30s to low-50s. July and August see peak insect activity alongside the best water conditions for fishing and paddling. The campground closes after September 30, and winter access becomes difficult as snow accumulates at this elevation. Spring thaw can leave the road muddy and impassable.
Open through Sept 30; cooler nights and fewer visitors likely improve experience.
