Best season: fall. Fall offers the most comfortable weather and the best balance of solitude and safety: daytime highs are typically in the 60s–80s°F (15–27°C) with cool nights, making hiking, riverside exploring, and photography much more pleasant than the hot summer months. The light on the canyon walls is excellent for photography and the river shoreline beaches are exposed as flows drop, while insect activity is low and crowds remain minimal because this is a primitive, first-come area. Expect crisp evenings,少 Peak months: October, September, April, May Avoid: July, August
Fall brings comfortable temps, cool nights, lower insects and great canyon light per overview.
