Driving directionsFrom Panguitch, Utah, travel 7 miles south on Hwy 89 to Scenic Hwy 12. Travel Hwy 12 for 11 miles to East Fork Road. Travel East Fork Road 7 miles to Tropic Reservoir and Kings Creek Campground. Turn immediately after the sign for the campground, and continue .5 miles to the campground located on the west side of Tropic Reservoir.
The campground can be reached via a well-maintained gravel road with good access for cars and RVs alike. However, one user review mentions, 'prepare for the absolutely atrocious dirt road on the way in. If you don’t have a Jeep or a 4-wheel drive vehicle, it’ll be tough.' Another review states, 'Nice quiet place to camp...easy walk to the nice lake for a cool dip.'
