Front sites and fence-line spots get lumber yard noise, restaurant light pollution, and traffic sounds all night. Showers are functional but cramped and dated, which frustrates anyone expecting updated facilities.
Compare with similar sites, watch availability, and build a packing list — Camp Sage handles all of it.
Summer is the sweet spot. Daytime highs run 65–80°F, nights cool to the mid-40s to mid-50s. Early June and late August see lighter crowds than peak July, when trails and lakes fill up. Swimming, paddling, and day-hiking all work well from June through August. Winter brings heavy snow and serious cold. Autumn paints the hardwoods in reds and golds, though temperatures drop fast once September ends.
Summer is 'the sweet spot'; trails and lakes accessible though busiest July–Labor Day.
