About Walker River Campground

Tucked along the sinuous bends of the East Walker River, Walker River State Recreation Area transforms the historic Pitchfork Ranch into an angler's paradise and nature lover's retreat. Shaded meadow campsites invite you to cast a line into productive waters, drift lazily downstream, or simply watch the sun paint Mt. Grant and the Wassuk Range in ever-changing light.
