Driving directionsIn Cloudcroft, NM, take State Rt. 130 south 1.4 miles to Recreation Site sign. Turn left onto FR24B which is just across the road from Deerhead Campground. Continue 0.8 miles to campground.
Roads leading to the campground are paved and easily navigable. However, RVs longer than 30’ are prohibited.

This intimate mountain retreat features 15 thoughtfully spaced camping units, including 2 double sites perfect for group gatherings, 3 spacious triple units for larger parties, and 10 cozy single sites ideal for couples or solo adventurers. Whether you're pitching a tent under the stars or settling in with your RV (30 feet or under), you'll find yourself enveloped by towering pines and the gentle sounds of the forest, far from the crowds and close to serenity.
