Go if

Boaters, anglers, and families chasing walleye or rainbow trout on a reservoir big enough for jet skis and windsurfing. The dock and boat ramp make launch easy, summer temps stay in the 70s and 80s, and electric hookups mean RVers won't rough it much.

Skip if

No showers despite what some listings imply, and at least one reviewer flagged this specifically. The access roads are genuinely rough, and free-roaming cows wandering through camp will catch first-timers off guard.
