Lake-based activities (fishing and boating), hiking through pine and oak stands with crisp air, and horseback rides across rolling hills are at their peak, and fall foliage creates excellent photo vantage points. Weekdays are generally quiet while weekends around hunting dates can be busy, Peak months: October, November, April, May Avoid: January, February
