Taylorsville Lake State Park offers a variety of amenities catering to campers, equestrian enthusiasts, and anglers. A central service building includes laundry facilities, and ten sites are specifically dedicated to horse camping, equipped with water and electricity. Firewood is available for sale on-site to prevent the importation of firewood from outside Kentucky due to the Emerald Ash Borer risk. A dump station with two lanes is available for RV users along with water and electricity hookups at RV sites. The park allows golf carts with permits that cost $25 for a week or $100 annually, with exemptions for disabled visitors displaying proper identification.
