Go if

Boaters and bass fishers get the most out of this place. The State Dock rents pontoons and fishing boats, a free shuttle runs from camp, and Lake Cumberland's stripers and walleye draw serious anglers. Book site 29 if you're pulling a trailer, reviewers call it the flat one.

Skip if

Bring a level regardless, but big rigs over 30 feet will fight the tight loops. The pool is closed, groceries are 35 minutes away, and recent reviews show a maintenance slide, downed trees, uneven pads, cabins that weren't clean on arrival.
