Fall delivers the best conditions. September and October bring daytime temperatures in the 50s-70°F and nights in the 40s, with lower humidity than summer. The hardwood color show peaks during these months, and fishing or paddling on Tipsaw Lake stays pleasant. Weekdays see fewer visitors than weekends. The campground closes for winter. Summer offers warm weather for lake activities, though humidity rises. Spring brings wildflowers and warming temperatures as the season opens in April.
Description: 'Fall delivers the best conditions' and hardwood color show peaks in Sept–Oct.
