Best season: summer. Summer offers the most reliable access, the warmest daytime temperatures (typically mid-60s to low 80s°F) and long daylight for hiking, fishing, and evenings around the campfire. With only four sites, Lake Creek feels quiet even in peak months, so you get solitude without long drives; nights cool into the 40s–50s, which makes sleeping comfortable. Road and water conditions are generally best July–August, and many day-use trails and lake/stream access are at their peak. Peak months: July, August, June, September Avoid: December, January, February
