The sparkling waters of Lake Coeurd'Alene, considered one of the most beautiful lakes in the world, offer many different kinds of outdoor recreational activities year-round in a setting of exceptional scenic beauty.
The best way to see Lake Coeur d' Alene is by boat. However, visitors can also take a scenic drive around the lake by travel- ing east from Coeur d'Alene on Interstate 90, then south on State Highway 97 and State Highway 3 to the town of St. Maries. Proceed west on State Highway

Huckleberry Campground offers a suite of modern amenities, making it a highly rated and popular destination. The campground features 33 RV campsites, including 30 individual sites and 3 group sites. Each of the individual sites includes paved parking, potable water, electricity hookups, a picnic table, and a campfire ring. The group sites further enhance the offering with gravel parking, multiple potable water and electric hookups, two picnic tables, and two fire rings. The campground also provides six concrete vault toilets, an undeveloped non-motorized boat ramp, an RV waste dump station, and two self-serve pay stations. Additional recreational amenities include two day-use horseshoe pits. However, some users pointed out issues with noise, particularly from logging trucks near the road.
