Go if

Families and geology fans who want to book cave tours in advance will get the most out of this place, the guided tours are the main draw, Blue Hole and the Chipola River add solid above-ground options, and spring visits hit the sweet spot before summer heat and humidity settle in

Skip if

Tall campers or anyone claustrophobic should know the cave passages require stooping in places. Also, shade is nearly gone since the hurricane stripped the canopy, so summer stays mean full sun on every site, the open sky is great for Starlink, rough for staying cool.
