YETI Roadie 60 Wheeled Cooler

AI-RESEARCHED INSIGHTS

Quick Verdict

Great For

Vehicle-based outings where rolling a large, ultra-durable cooler is useful (car camping, tailgating, beach days, family camping, boating).

Not Ideal For

Backpacking, ultralight or long-distance hikes, solo hikers, or buyers on a tight budget.

Outstanding cold retention—PermaFrost™ insulation and thick rotomolded walls keep ice for days (lab-tested ~151 hours to 40°F).
High price—MSRP around $475; carries a premium compared with non-rotomolded competitors.
$500.00

Rare discounts; occasional 10–20% off during major sales (Black Friday, retailer clearouts).

About This Gear

The YETI Roadie 60 Wheeled Cooler is YETI's largest wheeled hard cooler, built with the same rotomolded durability and PermaFrost Insulation as the Tundra line. It rolls on NeverFlat solid, puncture- and impact-resistant wheels and extends with a retractable Periscope handle for hauling over rocky trails, gravel, and docks. It holds up to 98 cans or 68 lbs of ice, with room for a family camping trip or tailgate. Unlike YETI's Tundra hard coolers, the Roadie wheeled coolers do not include integrated lockports, so they are not certified bear-resistant.
