About This Gear
This versatile strap secures loads efficiently and quickly. It's strong, easy to adjust, and has a lock to prevent slippage. However, the stretchy material might not be as durable as traditional tie-down straps.
Our Take
From our own trips, not from reviews
The Swiss Army knife of straps. Part bungee, part ratchet: the stretch takes up the slack so you are not cranking a mechanism, and it still holds like a real tie-down. If you are trying to fasten anything to anything, this is the thing to have.
Ours hold a cargo cage full of gear down on the roof bars. They have also staked out a bedsheet as an impromptu movie screen. That range is the point: you stop thinking about how to secure something and just secure it.
