Trails around Mt. Muller are at their driest and most rideable, water crossings are lower, and wildflower meadows and green forest scenery are at their peak. Littleton Horse Camp is small and first-come, first-served, so weekends can be busy but weekday visits feel pleasantly quiet.

Natural Features and SceneryThe campground sits in Pacific Northwest forest a quarter-mile from the Mt. Muller trailhead, which connects to over 25 miles of wilderness trails including Snider Ridge and the Olympic Discovery Trail system. Old-growth forest dominates the landscape. The area provides access to Lake Crescent, Sol Duc Hot Springs, and the Sol Duc River. Cell service is limited or nonexistent in parts of the surrounding backcountry.
