About Corral Creek Campground

Tucked along the legendary North Platte River, Corral Creek Campground offers anglers and river enthusiasts an intimate escape where the sound of flowing water accompanies every moment. This cozy retreat keeps things refreshingly simple with essential amenities—vault toilets, dedicated day-use parking, and a scenic foot trail leading to prime wade fishing spots—while each of the few campsites comes equipped with a picnic table, fire ring or grill, and parking space. It's the kind of place where you can cast a line at sunrise and watch the river drift by from your campfire at dusk.
Six individual campsites with picnic tables, fire rings or grills, and parking spaces; signage requests no pull-throughs. The site is adjacent to riparian habitat along the North Platte River.
Natural Features and SceneryThe landscape here tells the story of high desert meeting mountain river, where hardy juniper trees and silver-green sagebrush sweep across the terrain in a tapestry of muted colors punctuated by native grasses swaying in the breeze. Along the riverbank, the environment transforms into a lush riparian corridor that contrasts beautifully with the surrounding arid landscape, creating a haven for wildlife and some of Wyoming's finest trout fishing. Rainbow and brown trout thrive in these cold, clear waters, while deer, raptors, and smaller wildlife make regular appearances throughout the day, reminding visitors they're sharing this special corner of the West with creatures who've called it home far longer.
