Bow Creek Primitive Camping is located along Bow Creek and the Missouri River in Cedar County, about 2 miles northeast of Wynot, Nebraska. Access is via a series of gravel roads following brown Bow Creek Recreation Area directional signs to the gravel parking lot and trailhead. The 205-acre Bow Creek Recreation Area includes wetlands, grasslands, riparian cottonwood forest, and mesic bur oak forest, with rock and sediment exposures along the Missouri River.
