    About Lake View Campground

Bicycling is allowed on the park's multi-use trails, the scenic drive and the park drive. Birding is a popular activity at Ochlockonee River State Park. We are one of only a few parks that is home to a resident population of red cockaded woodpeckers. Visitors may also see the Bachman’s sparrow and many other birds during their visit. The river is home to many osprey and eagles, and many species of hawks are seen during the fall migration.
